Hello dear parent!

Welcome to our little corner of the internet where you will get the support you need to help your child in school and through life.

My name is Shola Alabi. I am a fellow Parent, Teacher and Private Tutor.

I started out as a teacher in the year of 2001 and right from the beginning, I wanted to make a difference in the life of every child I met.

I was driven with so much passion that I approached everyday with those words in my head and going through my mind. I didn’t stop talking about it, I truly believed that I could turn every child around for the better!

I was completely driven in pursuing this dream but it wasn’t long before I came across a major stumbling block. I found out that my dream of making a difference and turning every child around for the better was not possible without the help of the parent.

As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher and no matter how much the teacher does in school, it is the help and support at home that makes all the difference.

With the right strategies put in place, I strongly believe that every child has what it takes to succeed. However, there is a crucial role you play as a parent to help your child succeed.

This site is to help you as a parent understand your child better and nurture their unique personality, abilities, skills and talents so that your child can reach his or her full potential.

I am here for you as a fellow parent as well as a teacher to support and encourage you to get to know your child’s uniqueness and use this knowledge to support them.

I will be sharing tips and tools to help you build their confidence, improve their performance, nurture, support and steer your child in the right direction as they journey through life.

As a parent, you play a big part in helping your child reach their full potential.

It is not my intention to criticise or judge anyone’s parenting style and these tips are not meant to dictate to you how to raise your child. God knows I have made my share of mistakes – some of which I share in the videos.

However, the tips I share are from my experience of supporting parents, working as a teacher and private tutor and of course from my own ups and downs as a mother of two.

I will like to use this medium to encourage you as a parent to grab every opportunity to know and understand your child and then make the best use of this knowledge to support them throughout their life time.Shola ignaure
